Without volunteers the SNIP clinics would simply not be possible. Many of the local American and Canadian expats as well as the local Mexican community regularly participate in the monthly spay/neuter clinics in San Felipe.
Our amazing volunteers...
- dog and cat crates
- grooming tools
- nail clippers
- rubbing alcohol & peroxide
- paper towels
- sterile surgical drapes
- Transport street animals to and from clinics
- Register, tag, weigh and prep animals for surgery
- Carry heavy animals to & from crates
- In post-op care they clean incisions, clean ears, clip nails, brush & groom, remove ticks, administer medications & tattoo the females
- Communicate with owners regarding aftercare
